This turned out beautifully again, Rachel ✨. The “channels of love” she built are such a striking image, standing out among so many other wonderful details. What a remarkable legacy your grandmother left behind—both personal and professional, and despite all the hardship.

Thank you, Brigitte. Your feedback was so instrumental in helping me find the heart of this story. And yes—my grandmother's ability to build those channels of love, despite everything, still amazes me. Really grateful for your help in bringing her story to life.

These stories are so captivating. Such a gift to your entire family as well. For many families, these types of stories get lost as generations die. The way you include history and psychology adds so much important when and why for current and future generations. We’re all lucky to share in this.

Thank you, Matt. While working on these essays, I've found myself wishing I'd asked more questions and spent more time with these stories while my grandparents were still alive. But I've loved getting to spend time with old photos and family memories, seeing how these stories connect through the generations. Really appreciate you reading and seeing the value in preserving these histories.
